Jahnaya and Ethan kept things classic with a ceremony at Wightman Chapel on the Scarritt Bennett campus in Nashville. They got ready on-site, which made the day feel relaxed and seamless — no rushing between venues, no distractions.

Wightman Chapel is a historic space with real meaning. Built in 1928, it was part of a college dedicated to educating women missionaries and later became a center for civil rights events and social justice work. Booking here isn’t just about the beauty — though the Gothic-style stone, stained glass, and vaulted ceilings are incredible — it’s about being part of something with legacy.

The ceremony was simple and heartfelt. The light inside the chapel is naturally soft and cinematic, perfect for capturing real, candid moments without a lot of extra setup. That’s the kind of photography I do — honest, cinematic, and focused on what matters.

If you’re planning a wedding at Wightman Chapel and want a photographer who works intentionally, I’d love to hear from you!
